The client for this order gave us 2 very old whisky barrels they had in their garden, their request was to make a garden table with a shelf and a bench to go alongside it. With a twist, they were looking for an epoxy resin finish on top and the date of when they first met their other half embedded into the lid. They gave us tiles which had a lot of meaning to them for the date. This project took over a month of on and off work and was 100% worth it for the final result.

The final product, and the custom resin top they were after.
A little bit of sanding and the removal of the main part. I forgot the before photo.
The result, a comfortable and solid chair.
The final outcome. A stained, oiled, epoxied and finished set.
